Welcome to Read Frog. These Terms of Service are between you and FEELIO TECHNOLOGIES LTD. ("Read Frog", "we", "us", or "our") and govern your access to and use of Read Frog, the Read Frog browser extensions, the website at https://www.readfrog.app, and related online language-learning features, including Notebase.
Service Description
Read Frog is a digital language-learning and reading-assistance service. Notebase is Read Frog's structured learning workspace. Users can save vocabulary, definitions, example sentences, translations, and reading notes from web pages, then generate flashcards and review them. A common use case is building a vocabulary Notebase for memorizing words found while reading online.
Read Frog is delivered online. We do not sell or ship physical goods.
Accounts
Some features require an account. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate account and billing information when using paid features.
Plans, Payments, and Subscriptions
Read Frog offers a freemium subscription model for Notebase. Free users can create up to 50 Notebase notes. Paid users can create unlimited Notebase notes. Flashcard generation and review remain available without a paid plan.
Paid subscriptions may be processed by third-party payment processors or merchant-of-record providers. Your use of those payment flows may also be subject to the provider's terms and privacy policy.
Refunds and Cancellation
Our refund and cancellation rules are described in the Refund & Cancellation Policy. Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time, and refund requests may be submitted within 14 days of purchase by contacting us at [email protected].
User Content and Third-Party AI Providers
You are responsible for the text, prompts, notes, flashcards, and other content you submit to Read Frog. When you use translation, AI, custom action, text-to-speech, or other networked features, content may be sent to the provider you select or configure. Third-party providers are responsible for their own services, terms, and privacy practices.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse Read Frog or use it to:
- violate laws or third-party rights;
- attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or overload the service;
- share harmful, abusive, deceptive, or unlawful content;
- circumvent feature limits, access controls, or payment requirements.
Intellectual Property
Read Frog, its software, website, branding, and product materials are protected by intellectual property laws. Except for rights explicitly granted to you, we retain all rights in Read Frog. You retain rights in your own content.
Service Changes
Read Frog and Notebase are evolving products. We may add, change, limit, or discontinue features, including beta features, as we improve the service.
Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Read Frog is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or business opportunities.
Governing Law
These Terms and any disputes related to Read Frog are governed by the laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and update the date above.
